Who we are

QCCN is Queensland’s top regionally focused communication consultancy focussing on stakeholder relations, corporate communication and public affairs.

Overall QCCN is one of the top ten communication consultancies in Queensland, with senior team members across permanent regional offices. QCCN is also one of the State’s most awarded firms, boasting a string of national, international and global awards for regional projects.

QCCN traces its heritage back to 1987 and was born from the coming together of three leading regional firms – Business Nous (North Queensland), Cassius Communications (Central Queensland) and ECHO Communications and Marketing (Far North Queensland).

After growing to dominate their local/regional markets for a decade the firms combined their resources and expertise in 1999 to become Queensland Corporate Communications Network Pty Ltd to better support clients with major projects or state-wide needs from a progressively extended the network covering all major regional centres the length of the State.

QCCN now operates from Far North, North, Central and Southern Queensland; with strong links to highly respected specialists in Brisbane, further afield in Australia, and around the world.

We offer single-point regional contact and management backed by high-level, on-the-ground support for projects and clients anywhere in Queensland.

In 2001, our dedication to excellence was recognised and we were invited to join the PRIA’s prestigious Registered Consultancies Group (RCG) which regulates major communication consultancies and provides a rigid ethical and professional framework. QCCN was the first non-metropolitan member of the RCG in Queensland.

QCCN also gained Level 3 prequalification to undertake communication and stakeholder relations projects for the Queensland Government under the Queensland Government PQC scheme.

If your organisation needs to better understand or effectively engage with stakeholders and enhance your corporate reputation anywhere in Queensland, QCCN has the track record, coverage and expertise you need.

Our team of senior professionals is among the most experienced of any communication consultancy in Australia.

With each member a respected expert in their field, the team has an intimate understanding of Queensland’s regional communities and the issues they face. Enjoying solid relationships with key decision-makers and key stakeholders, they’re able to select and use the most appropriate communication mechanisms to reach the right stakeholders at the right times.

While the team has been physically positioned to maximise our regional spread, innovative use of telecommunications and IT systems allows QCCN to rapidly create virtual teams to support any project. When required, we can also assemble a physical “flying squad” to increase local resources on the ground at any location.

In addition to their roles with QCCN, a number of our senior team members also manage their own local clients and projects. This allows them to maintain the close and direct local links they need to effectively operate within their regions for  the QCCN network.

Our dedicated team is supported by a wider network of specialist communication practitioners, providing input as required in a range of areas including indigenous affairs, community development, project management, and business audit.

Complete curriculum vitae for key team members are available to clients or on request.
